final project

 

For our final project, bobby and I originally wanted to make a new desk.  After some research we decide that was a pain in the rear end so you told us to make a board with quotes on it. Bobby and I glued 4 smaller boards into a bigger board we had to plane and sand the board before we could glue and clamp them.  We then mad one more board, after we planed the two new boards, you told us we couldn’t glue them together so we started wood burning our quotes on separate boards.  I stenciled one board and bobby stenciled the other, while bobby stenciled I was wood burning and vise versa.  Our quotes were; “Pretty girls always cause trouble.” (Tracy video, 1949) from The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, “I love the smell of napalm in the morning, it smells like victory. (Brando/sheen Video 1979) Apocalypse Now, and “Alive” (Shelly, Pg.47) Frankenstein.  I’m not sure what else there really is to type about our project. Sorry it is not as glorious as a desk but we worked hard on it Mr. Dude!
